Praying for children
Since Z was very, very, little, I intentionally began a ritual to sit and read three books to him at bedtime and then say a prayer for him. He enjoys this time and once when I was so tired I almost got up before praying he turned to me and said "pray, daddy, pray?". A precious request. That being said, I encourage you to read this post from the blog "Practical Shepherding" that should be an encouragement to any Father to pray with his child.
