In memoriam

My father passed away just today for what will now become a Father's day to remember and be thankful for the father I had on this earth. For what I lacked in having a Christian role model as a father, by God's grace my father was a man who drew a solid line between worldly good and evil, was not afraid of hard work, accepted and taught responsibility for one's own actions, and deeply loved and cared for his family in his own unique and eccentric ways. And thankfully, he did not stand between his wife and her desire to raise their children in hopes that they would some day come to know Christ as their Savior. May God bless and comfort my mother during these days. My thanks to God for having had the privilege to be my earthly father's son.
