We had our first inhome visit by our adoption counselor last night. It is a process that one would be nervous with anticipation about, but it ended up being an enjoyable time. For us it was a pleasant walk down memory lane recalling our childhood and reminiscing about how we met and how much we have enjoyed over nine years of marriage. The house safety inspection was much less than we were prepared for, but then we are always over prepared for most anything [no that's not intended to be a comment about Kristin packing for a trip ;) ]
Now to find time to read our book and finish the last bit of paperwork...we're on target to be fully approved and waiting in 3-4 weeks.
Please continue to pray for us as we await God's perfect timing.
