On one of the first (and last) warm and DRY days we had in early March, Baby Z and I went for our first walk around the neighborhood. He was really excited and seemed to enjoy it quite a bit. For the first 10 minutes of the ride, he was clutching the stroller tray with his hands so he could lean forward and see everything. After that he decided he could still see if he sat back – a little bit – and rested against the back of the stroller.

Baby Z figured out how to use his Bumbo to pull-up on or lean on as a mobility device like a walker to get him closer to where he wanted to go. He has pushed it across the hardwood floors and even pushed it across the carpet in his room a little. Most recently, he walked with it all the way down our hall to go find DaDa in the bedroom. Mommy follows close behind just in case he topples.
