A couple of variations of internet search engines that can be useful.
1) Twingine: A search engine that does visually parallel searches on both google and yahoo at the same time. This can be very useful. Props go out to Mrs. C. for the heads up on this search engine.
2) Pagebull: Just discovered this today via Lifehacker. This search engine displays images of the actual pages that your search has found rather than just providing links to your search answers. Interesting way to search--try it out if you got broadband. Oh and a plug for Lifehacker--awesome blog with lots of great tips. Any website whose theme is "Geek to Live" can't be too bad. Maybe someday I'll get a chance to actually put some permanent useful links up on this blog.
