Another milestone completed in our adoption process. We are now activated! We have been on our adoption agency's website for awhile, but there was a mistake with a missing photo caption. I waited until it was fixed before informing you all of it. So if you click here it will take you to the page of waiting families. Scroll down to the bottom, we are 3rd from the bottom. For those of you that were hoping for twins for us, it just got even MORE unlikely. The couple directly above us, Tony and Amy, were activated on 10/17, matched with birthmother on 10/26, and received placement of their twin baby boy and girl sometime this week! They are a good example of how quickly the process can move and the unexpected but delightful surprises that can happen.
